The first is a glow bar igniter that still lights up but no longer draws enough current to open the gas valve, so the oven takes longer and longer to catch and then one morning does not, while the part looks perfectly healthy throughout. Current gets measured under load, because glowing proves nothing about how much it is drawing. The second is door hardware. These doors are heavy, the hinges and springs carry that weight through every cycle, and eventually the door stops closing square against the frame. What you notice is browning gone uneven and a broiler that will not hold, which reads like a control fault and is not one.
